They're glad that they got their last task achieved ('get child into a real job') and are now focused on their new task ('marry off child and get grandchildren, preferably legitimate grandchildren'). The downside: they're trying to parent an adult who has his/her own life. The upside: they think you accomplished an important step to living as a true adult, which reflects well on everyone. Be proud that they believe you've accomplished something, and treat their pushing as a suggestion for further happiness (which is what it is). Doesn't mean you have to act on it...Sarah Glennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12455113960686270662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3202241003290273966.post-54908956952477796332010-01-26T00:00:20.513-08:002010-01-26T00:00:20.513-08:00Tell everyone you know that you are looking they c...Tell everyone you know that you are looking they could have sisters friends family that are single and looking too Your parents mean well they want you to be well rounded in all parts of your lifeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3202241003290273966.post-86353954909187038782010-01-25T22:16:42.101-08:002010-01-25T22:16:42.101-08:00Play nice at home. Try an online site to meet girls - it'll be easier to at least go on a few dates and see if you like someone. Well, it was. I was a pre-med on the verge of interviews when your blog made me realize I was doing it for all the wrong reasons. Thanks for the reality check, that's at least one life you've saved.Samnoreply@blogger.com
